Makana nō nā keiki is a group of dedicated individuals working to provide a Holiday experience to the children impacted by the August 08th wild fires. While planning independently we have partnered with Fujinaga Electric, Maui Oil, Stonefish Grill, Waste Pro Hawaii and nonprofit organization "Living Pono Project" to expedite and accomplish our goal for the 2023 holiday season.
There are many ways to get involved with Makana nō nā keiki: if you are a family that has children that are affected by the fires, please register here online and fill out your Santa's wish list. If you would like to support the project, you can go to our Maika'i list and select a child you would like to adopt for the season. If you would like to help with the costs of planning or would like to make a monetary donation, you may do so through our link.
Makana nō nā keiki is focused on providing a one day experience to keiki that were impacted in the Maui wild fires. We aim to grant all keiki wishes in a personal and meaningful way this holiday season. We want to provide one day where they do not think about the loss, but rather focus on just enjoying themselves amongst family & friends, while having their wishes granted. .
If your family was impacted by the August 08th Maui wild fires and is under the age of 18, they qualify to register for a Christmas wish.
All gifts will be shipped directly to Makana nō nā Keiki's safe storage holding on Maui, gifts will be hand wrapped by our dedicated team of volunteers and will be distributed in person at our community event on Saturday, December 16th at the Maui Nui Botanical Gardens.
